Piller Questionable For Saturday's Game
By Nathan Ealy January 8, 2002

Offensive guard Zach Piller participated in practice Wednesday, and is officially listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Steelers.

''He practiced today and he's feeling ok, he's not 100% but he's feeling ok,'' head coach Jeff Fisher said. ''The key will be how he feels tomorrow after the work he did today.''

Although he has done well in practice, Fisher does not want to risk Piller injuring the calf again.

''The thing you don't want to do is put Zach back on the field and have him re-injure the calf,'' Fisher said. ''That's paramount right now as far as we're concerned.''

Defensive end Jevon Kearse had a scare at practice on Wednesday after twisting his ankle. Kearse sat out the rest of practice.

''He tweaked it a little,'' Fisher said. ''It got sore and made him nervous, but he could have finished practice if we pushed it a little bit but it makes no sense to do that.''
