As the Titans prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in a divisional playoff game this coming Saturday, the questions surrounding the Titans are whether or not offensive linemen Brad Hopkins and Zack Piller will be able to play.
''In all likelihood with the way things are looking Brad looks like he has a chance to play,'' Fisher said. ''We will know later in the week, his quickness is there, his strength is there he is going to be as full strength as possible to handle (Joey) Porter.''
Head coach Jeff Fisher said that Hopkins would only play if he were capable of performing at the level he was before being injured.
''We are not going to ask Brad to play if he is not able to do the things prior to the injury,'' Fisher said. ''You cannot go into left tackle and be limited and expect to win many battles.''
Piller was able to participate in a few team drills Tuesday, but still seems questionable for Saturday.
Fisher said the team would benefit if Piller and Hopkins could return because of the familiarity they have with the Steelers but reserve linemen Jason Matthews and Tom Ackerman have played well when called upon.
''Now when Jason and Tom have gone into the game, regardless of who we have played against they have done well,'' Fisher said. ''If we have a chance to get Brad back and Zack back that just allows us a chance to finish up with the line we started with.''
Fisher said that quarterback Steve McNair feels good and appears to be comfortable practicing this week and has an excellent grasp on the game plan for the Steelers.
