The Titans held a light workout at Baptist Sports Park on Thursday while letting several players rest.
Quarterback Steve McNair was able to practice for the second day in a row and appeared to being doing well.
''Steve was fine,'' Head Coach Jeff Fisher said. ''He came out and did everything. He took half the reps and even ran some after practice, so that was good.''
McNair has not practiced in the last five weeks due to a variety of injuries ranging from injured ribs to a turf toe.
Defensive end Jevon Kearse was held out of practice Thursday, but simply to rest.
''He could practice this week but we have taken advantage of this week just to rest him up,'' Fisher said.
Defensive back Donald Mitchell (ankle), cornerback Samari Rolle (ribs), defensive tackle John Thorton (ankle), offensive lineman Brad Hopkins (knee) and offensive lineman Zack Piller (calf) were also held of practice Thursday to rest.
