Titans Quarterback Steve McNair presented a check for $7,500 to the Bethlehem Center today at Baptist Sports Park.
The Bethlehem Center offers programs for families to participate in and it also gets at-risk children involved in the community while providing skills training.
McNair is the founder of the Steve McNair Foundation. All proceeds from the foundation go directly to organizations that McNair feels very accustomed to.
One of the keynote events of the Steve McNair Foundation was a football camp held at Goodpasture High School this past spring. Around 250 boys attended the camp and were sponsored by local businesses.
''The thing that I'm proud of is to go out and reach my hand out to young people who were unfortunate to have the things I had while growing up or have at this point,'' McNair said.
