The Titans practiced Thursday at Baptist Sports Park without the services of quarterback Steve McNair and several offensive linemen.
Head coach Jeff Fisher said that McNair is feeling better and may try to practice Friday.
''With Steve, tomorrow is Friday and tomorrow is the day we will try to get him on the field,'' Fisher said. ''So we will try to get him on the field and try something.''
''His ribs feel pretty good, it’s a combination of things, his lower back and ribs, but he is feeling better.''
Offensive linemen Brad Hopkins, Zack Piller, Gennaro DiNapoli, and Benji Olson were all held out of practice due to injury or sickness.
Fisher said that Hopkins, who injured his knee in the Monday night game against the Patriots, has a chance to play and will be a game time decision.
''Brad is coming along, he will have a chance I am sure,'' Fisher said. ''He has not practiced yet but will be a game time decision.''
DiNapoli and Olson were both sick and sat out of practice Thursday.
''Gennaro DiNapoli we sent him home, because he was sick and Benji left the field early today because he was sick as well.''
Piller (calf) was held out of practice and seems unlikely to play Sunday while defensive lineman John Thornton is listed as questionable for Sunday's game and did not practice Thursday with a swollen ankle.
