Here's how the Titans rank against the NFL after week 16 of the season:
Quarterback Steve McNair ranks fifth in the AFC in touchdowns with 22, and tied for fifth in the AFC with 293 completions.
Wide receiver Derrick Mason's 27 receptions for 335 yards on third downs ranks second and third respectively in the AFC.
The Titans offense has scored a touchdown 60.4% of the time they have reached the red zone which ranks fourth in the AFC.
On defense, defensive end Carlos Hall ranks second in the AFC and third in the NFL among all rookies with eight sacks.
The Titans defense has not allowed a 100 yard rusher in 21 consecutive home games which ranks first in the NFL.
Punter Craig Hentrich's 42.0 average on punts ranks fifth and his 24 punts inside the opponents 20 yard line ranks tied for fifth in the AFC. Kicker Joe Nedney's eight touchbacks on kickoffs ranks fourth in the AFC.
As a team the Titans rank first in the NFL in time of possession with 33:05 per game.
The Titans are 16th in the league in total offense (8th in the AFC), averaging 333 yards per game. The Titans are 12th in the NFL (7th in the AFC) in rushing offense, averaging 120.8 yards per game. Tennessee ranks 20th in the NFL (11th in the AFC) in passing offense, averaging 212.2 yards per game.
On defense, the Titans rank 11th in the NFL in total defense (5th in the AFC), allowing 316 yards per game. The Titans are 2nd in the NFL (2nd in AFC) in rushing defense, allowing 93.1 yards per game. The Titans also rank 23rd in the NFL (12th in the AFC) in passing defense, allowing 222.9 yards per game.
