The Titans named safety Tank Williams the Titans recipient of the 2005 Ed Block Courage Award, the team announced Wednesday.

The award is presented to one player from every NFL team who exemplifies a commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage.

Williams has started all 14 games of the 2005 season, despite coming back from an ACL injury suffered late during the 2004 season.

Fellow Titan defender Keith Bulluck claimed the award in 2004.
