With just two games left in the season, several Titans are suffering through various injuries. A number of Tennessee players were banged up after Sunday’s home finale against Seattle.
Defensive back Andre Woolfolk (mild ankle sprain), offensive guard Zach Piller (shoulder strain), running back Jarrett Payton (back spasms), tight end Ben Troupe (sore ankle), and running back Chris Brown (sore shoulder) all left Sunday’s game at some point before returning. All are expected to play at Miami on Saturday.
Running back Travis Henry was inactive against the Seahawks due to an ankle sprain. Head Coach Jeff Fisher said he thought that Henry would not have been effective against Seattle but could see action against the Dolphins.
‘’He would have struggled in the ballgame,’’ Fisher said. ‘’I think he struggled on the field changing directions and playing. He’s still sore. That doesn’t mean he’s not going to have a chance this week. I think he’ll have a much better chance this week.’’
Fisher noted that linebacker Rob Reynolds, who is also battling an ankle sprain, could have played against Seattle and will likely see action at Miami.
‘’Rob was close, and I think Rob will be fine,’’ Fisher said.
Tight end Erron Kinney missed the last two games with a knee sprain but is expected to go on Saturday.
‘’Erron’s circled this week and I think he’s got a chance,’’ Fisher said.
