After Friday’s practice at Baptist Sports Park, Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher said that many of the Titans are disappointed that former Titans cornerback Andre Dyson will not make the trip to Nashville.
Dyson, the Titans starting cornerback last season, went down to injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in a Monday night game. Fisher said that a majority of the defense and wide receivers Drew Bennett and Tyrone Calico were looking forward to Dyson’s return.
''The defensive players were hoping for a chance he’d get to play,'' Fisher said. ''I’m sure that it would have brought everybody up off the bench on the sideline. Andre’s made some big plays for them [Seattle].''
A few of the Titans players recently have been bit with the flu bug. Linebacker Rob Reynolds, who’s questionable in Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, and defensive end Travis Laboy both showed signs of the virus. Laboy did practice.
''They’ve improved a little bit,'' Fisher said. ''Rob’s still not well, but Travis is better today. He tried to do some things out on the field which is good.''
