As the Titans prepare for Seattle, Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher wants his offense to focus more internally.
The Titans have not scored a touchdown offensively in two weeks.
''We've got to score points and keep the football away from them,'' Fisher said. ''Do the things that you put down on paper. Convert third downs, steal touchdown passes, and all of this stuff, you have to do these things to beat this team, cause that's what they do. They do it consistency week after week.''
A main concern for the Titans offense: converting third downs. Dating back to the second half against Jacksonville, the Titans are just 9 of their last 40 in third down conversions.
''We'll keep working on it and change things up and make plays,'' Fisher said. ''We had two miss assignments and run game on second down to create third and long situations. So it's all about what we are doing and how we are doing it and we are going to practice it all week and try to give the guys a chance to make the right plays.''
In part, the Titans third down struggles relate to the loss of Erron Kinney early against Indianapolis.
''You need to spread the third down hits around,'' Fisher said. ''Teams that have great receivers are picking up third downs because they are disregarding the running backs and check downs. The teams that have great tight ends and receivers are getting third downs. You have to rely on the whole package you can't just put it on just one position than the other.''
''Erron has been a big contributor for us on third downs. He has a lot of third downs conversations. Erron is not here so everybody's going to have to step up.''
