With the Titan's newly acquired picks, and no NFL experience under their belt, many would question whether the rookies are ready to produce right away. However, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher has little doubt about the promising young draft picks.
In fact, Fisher believes that Adam "Pac-Man" Jones is ready to make a difference in the Titan's young secondary.
"It's not unusual for a younger player to step up," Fisher said. "I think he has unique qualities, in that he not only leads by example by making plays, but he also will attract others."
The determined 5'9 former Mountaineer agrees.
"I'm comfortable with anything, whatever Coach (Fisher) tells me to do win I'll do it," Jones said. "It really doesn't matter to me if he tells me to go and play cover 3, cover 2, quads or man. Whatever it takes to win I'm down for it."
While the soft-spoken, Eastern Michigan tackle Michael Roos had little to say during Sunday's press conference, he did share his new teammate's attitude in contributing to the Titan's success.
"My plan is to come in here and work as hard as I can work and do what's best for the team."
Titans General Manager Floyd Reese said he was not only happy with his top two picks, but he was also happy with the additions of three wide receivers: Indiana's Courtney Roby, Oklahoma's Brandon Jones, and Tulane's Roydell Williams.
"They're all similar," Reese said. "They all can run. They all can catch. They'll come in and be a part of a rotation, and they'll kind of work on the run."
"We said before this draft, those guys are going to be thrown right in there and we'll let them work it out."
