Titans running back Travis Henry went over the 100 yard marker for the sixth time this season in the 40-23 defeat of the Patriots.
Henry's 101 yard game on 20 carries put him at 1210 yards for the 2006 season. Henry started in 13 games, backed up Chris Brown in one, and was inactive for two games.
Coming into today's game, the Patriots allowed just under 92 yards per game. The Titans totaled 135 yards on the ground.
Henry took over the starting job from Brown starting in week 5 against Indianapolis and never looked back.
From week five to the end of the season, Henry had 240 carries for 1129 yards in a 12 week span. That equals out to 4.7 yards per carry and most likely puts Henry in the top ten in the NFL in rushing, depending on what other backs did on Sunday.
The 1210 yards is Henry's third best total in his career. Henry surpassed 1300 yards twice while he was in Buffalo.
