Players Excited For Possible Outcome
By Jonathan Hutton December 29, 2006

Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher does not want the outcome of other games around the NFL playing a factor in Sunday's match up against the New England Patriots at LP Field.

For that reason, Fisher said he will not allow any scores or scenarios to be posted prior to kickoff and during the game itself.

''We’re going to do everything we can, we’ve been doing it all week, to avoid distractions,'' Fisher said. ''There will be scores posted in the stadium. They might not be able to obtain scores of every game.''

Meanwhile the Titans injury situation looked much better. Several players who were nursing injuries earlier in the week practiced with the team during Friday's session.

''We got Bobby Wade back like we anticipated,'' Fisher said. ''Tony [Brown] back. Bo [Scaife] practiced, so it’s going good.''

Fisher said the Titans have practiced well all week knowing that this weekend's match up features playoff implications.

''The guys are excited,'' Fisher said. ''Our injury situation is improving. We had a good week, the weather’s great and guys are excited and ready to play. We have a big challenge.''
