Wide receiver Drew Bennett (knee), tight end Bo Scaife (ankle), defensive end Travis LaBoy (knee) and middle linebacker Peter Sirmon (knee) all sat out Thursday's practice due to injuries.
Running back Travis Henry and cornerback Reynaldo Hill were limited in Thursday's practice due to ankle injuries.
Every one of these players played in last week's game against Jacksonville except for Scaife.
Fisher said Sirmon is expected to practice on Friday to see if he will be able to give it a go up in Buffalo on Sunday.
"Pete's doing well,'' Fisher said. ''He actually has a chance to do some things with the team tommorow. He's improving quickly.''
Bennett needed an extra day of rest and is expected to play Sunday.
Scaife may be more of a game-time decision.
"We did some things inside with Bo today, so he still has a chance," Fisher said.
Fisher said LaBoy is nursing a sore knee from the Jacksonville game that still feels a little sore. LaBoy had three tackles and a half sack against the Jaguars.
Henry has drastically improved compared to last week and the running back is expected to play against his old team on Sunday. Henry had 12 carries for 37 yards in last week's game.
"He practiced today full speed and felt real good where as last week he didn't take a practice rep so he's way ahead of where he was last week," Fisher said.
