Scaife Likely Back For Buffalo Game
By Justin Seamon December 18, 2006

Titans starting tight end Bo Scaife will likely be back this week, after missing Sunday's game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury.

''We are going to keep a close eye on Bo Scaife, and we hope Bo back this week,'' Head Coach Jeff Fisher said.

Starting middle linebacker Peter Sirmon left early during Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a knee injury and did not return. Fisher said he expects Sirmon to recover, but he will be limited in practice this week.

''I think he is going to be alright,'' Fisher said. ''He may be limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but I think he will come back off of this.''

Rookie linebacker Stephen Tulloch replaced Sirmon in the game and ended up with a team high 13 tackles. Fisher said Tulloch will most likely get most of the practice reps this week for Sirmon.

''Stephen came in and had 13 tackles and was very, very active,'' Fisher said. ''He had some difficulty at time with the run fits, so we will just see how it is. When we take the practice field on Wednesday Stephen will line up I am quite confident and will get the early reps in the week.''

Besides the normal bumps and bruises from any game, Fisher said the only other Titans to suffer minor injuries were long snapper Ken Amato (neck sprain) and Colby Buckwoldt (shoulder sprain).

Going into the Jaguars game, Fisher had some concerns about running back Travis Henry's ankle, but Fisher said Henry's ankle looked fine.
