Young Leaves Practice With Sore Elbow
Justin Seamon December 15, 2006

Rookie quarterback Vince Young left practice early on Friday, but Head Coach Jeff Fisher said it was just due to a little soreness.

''Vince's elbow was just a little tired,'' Fisher said. ''We just pulled him out of practice the last period and iced him down. He just did a lot of heavy throwing yesterday.''

After missing Thursday's practice due to minor injuries, defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and wide receiver Drew Bennett returned to practice on Friday.

''Albert's back came right back around,'' Head Coach Jeff Fisher said. ''Drew is still a little sore, but at least we got him back on the field today.''

Running back Travis Henry practiced for the second day in a row, but still only worked in limited settings.

''Our intention is to hold Travis out as long as we can during the week just to make sure we don't set him back with swelling,'' Fisher said. ''It was good to get him back on the field.''

With the ankle injury to Henry, the Titans running back situation for Sunday's game against Jacksonville is a little uncertain. Fisher said the most likely scenario if Henry can't go would be for running backs Chris Brown and LenDale White to split carries against the Jaguars.

''If Travis can't go, it really depends on how LenDale warms up,'' Fisher said. ''If Travis can't go, then I would expect to probably share the reps between Chris and LenDale. As far as I am concerned, it really doesn't matter who starts.''

Fisher said the Titans could activate all three running backs on Sunday, but that would leave the Titans thin at another spot. The Titans have not had all three running backs activated to the 53-man roster on Sunday during the whole 2006 season.

''It is a possibility,'' Fisher said. ''We lighten ourselves in another area, but it is a possibility and will be a game time decision.''

Wide receiver Brandon Jones (chest), guard Benji Olson (back), defensive end Josh Savage (hamstring), tight end Bo Scaife (ankle), and running back LenDale White (hip) all practiced on Friday, but will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
