Everything you need to know heading into Titans Training Camp

By Anna Glenn Grove

Titans fans have a lot to look forward to as the season gears up and the first practice opens to the public this Saturday at 9:50am at Saint Thomas Sports Park in Nashville. Practices typically last two hours but the length is under discretion of the coaching staff. A first-come first-serve basis will be applied.

There are many things to keep in mind as you prepare for the next three weeks of hot football weather ahead. The bleachers have been set up in multiple locations around the field that will allow for plenty of fan viewing areas. The bleachers are not shaded, so dress appropriately. Standing along the fence is not encouraged as not to interfere with traffic flow. Along with this, there will be cold, filtered water stations for fans to use free of charge and you may bring an empty water bottle to fill up.

Following practice, around 15 select players per day will be available for autographs in the southeast (far) end zone area. Every player on the roster will participate at least once. The players signing autographs on a particular day are not announced in advance.

As far as parking, there will be limited free spots in the parking lot directly across the street from Saint Thomas Sports Park at 445 Great Circle Road. Once these spots fill up, there will be additional free parking at Nashville Metro Parks and Recreation’s Ted Rhodes Multipurpose Fields. The address for this is 720 Mainstream Drive and courtesy shuttles will transport fans to  and from the practice field. The shuttles will begin running an hour before practice begins and will end an hour after practice finishes.

Security is a high priority for Titans training camp and fans will be required to go through a metal detector prior to entry. The same clear bag policy applies as the one used for Nissan Stadium. Other banned items include: food and beverages, tobacco products, coolers, liquids, umbrellas, chairs and strollers.

This being said, there will be merchandise available from the Titans Locker Room trailer for purchase and Coca-Cola concession products as well.

Titans Radio will be looking for a “Titans Radio: Training Camp Fan of the Day” each day of practice. This fan will be featured and interviewed across our social media platforms. You may mention us @titansradio on Twitter to let us know you will be attending practice, or say hello to us around the training camp facilities.
