Titans Kickoff Party is Saturday and here’s what you need to know

The 2019 Titans Kickoff Party is just around the corner and we have all the details you need to know about tomorrow night.

Practice is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium. Parking lots will open at 3 p.m., with gates opening at 4 p.m. Following the practice, country music artist Jake Owen will perform, and there will be fireworks afterward. The entire event is scheduled to end at 10 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking in the lots at Nissan Stadium will also be free. A ticket is not required for this event, but the clear bag policy will be enforced. Discounted concession items will be offered for fans.

The captains for this year’s scrimmage will be Marcus Mariota and Matt Dickerson on one side versus DaQuan Jones and David Fluellen on the other side. The captains have drafted their teams and coaches will be drafted between them as well. There will be no live tackling or kickoffs. Other than that, it will be about as close to a real game as you can get.

With TDOT repairing bridges on I-24 near Nissan Stadium, the Shelby Avenue, James Robertson Parkway, Spring Street and Jefferson Street exits will all be unavailable for fans. The only way to access the stadium will be from the downtown side. For those utilizing rideshare services, there will be two rideshare locations: the original station in Lot T and an additional station in Lot F. Give yourself plenty of time entering and exiting the stadium.

During this event, the Titans will also be hosting a “Pup Rally” pet adoption where dogs will be looking for homes. This is a collaboration between the Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation started by cornerback Logan Ryan and his wife along with the Nashville Humane Association, Mars Petcare’s BETTER CITIES FOR PETS™ program and the PEDIGREE Foundation. A total of 26 dogs will be up for adoption from 4 – 6:30pm at Nissan Stadium’s Gate 1.
